Log in using your Minecraft username and password (see below for which password) — you must be online in-game for this to work.
What password do I use? Depends on your account type:
Your /login password IS your website password — nothing else to set up.
You never set a manual password in-game, so run /onlinevoicechat password <password> once in-game to create one just for this website, then log in here with that.
Click Enable Microphone & Join Voice and allow the microphone permission your browser asks for.
Pick a Talk Mode: Voice Activity sends automatically whenever you speak, or Push to Talk only sends while you hold the button (or SPACE).
Nearby players hear you automatically through normal proximity voice chat — no group needed.
For chat that ignores distance, create or join a Voice Group (Normal/Open/Isolated) with an optional password.
The Listening box shows who you're currently hearing; use Mute All Incoming Voices to silence playback without disconnecting.
Click Log Out when you're done, or your session ends automatically after it expires.
Already have the real Simple Voice Chat mod installed and connected in your Minecraft client? Then your mic can't also go through this website — a player can only have one active microphone source. Disable/uninstall the mod client-side to talk here instead, or just use the mod directly. You can still hear others through the website either way.
Best on a second device or split-screen. This site needs to stay open and active while you're in Minecraft - on many phones/consoles, switching away from the game to open this page pauses or disconnects it in the background. Use a separate phone/tablet/PC for this website if you can, or a real split-screen/multi-window view so Minecraft keeps running while you use this site.
